FLINT, Michigan, August 24, 2023 – Professional Medical Corporation (PMC) Accountable Care Organization (ACO) has earned shared savings for the fourth consecutive year according to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) results released on August 24, 2023, demonstrating the ACO’s financial and quality performance success. PMC ACO achieved a 9.9% savings rate – over twice the rate compared to the prior year.
PMC ACO is a group of Michigan independent primary care physicians primarily based in Flint, Monroe, and Saginaw, and has partnered with Medical Advantage since its inception in 2014. In 2022, PMC ACO earned $5,323,313 total savings, with $2,608,423 to be paid by CMS.
